Career highlights:

In his first season in the CFL Koch and the Roughriders played in the CFL's 98th Grey Cup final in 2010 only to loose 21-18 to Montreal Alouettes.

Koch signed as a free agent with Hamilton Tiger Cats on the first day of the free agency, February 11, 2014

A nickname that started during his time with Saskatchewan has stuck with Cary Koch since moving to Edmonton where he is still affectionately known as "The Butter Tart Kid.'  From the Baton Rouge Advocate staff writer Kyle Pevto has the recipe for Koch's Butter Tart nickname.

On October 19, 2012 Cary Koch showed his outstanding athletic prowess by twisting and diving to complete this amazing reception from Edmonton quarterback Kerry Joseph for the CFL's most amazing 'Catch of the Year' against the BC Lions.

Known as TheOriginalKoch on his twitter account Cary's mantra is: Work Hard, Play Hard, Pray Hard.

Often he shares his heart and his thoughts with his followers, as he did recently: "When our plans are hindered, we shouldn't assume that it's Satan trying to stop us. It might be God trying to protect us."
