Steve's Biography

Born: July 28, 1963, Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania

College: Bucks County Community College

Retired at the end of 1996 season

Win-Loss, 18-15; Strikeouts, 157; ERA, 3.76

Personal:

In 2004 Steve was hired during his first interview with the baseball director for IMG Academies (K-12) in Florida, the largest sports facility in the world, where 600 student athletes from over 80 countries attend. As Head pitching coach Steve interacts with over 70 full time students in the baseball program.

Favorite Bible verse: Psalm 55:22 - "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall."

Accepted Jesus into his heart on May 3, 1984.

One of the most important things Steve has learned about becoming a Christian:

"Everything isn't going to be perfect. Life still has its speed bumps, but now I knew who to turn to for my cares. There are always challenges in life but it gives me an inner peace to know that Christ is walking right there with me!"
