BiographyGavin Keith Peaock Born: Eltham, England; November 18, 1967 Playing Position: Midfielder, Striker Played professionally from 1984 to 2002 in the Premier League for Newcastle United and Chelsea and in the Football League for Queens Park Rangers, Gillingham, Bournemouth and Charlton Athletic. He spent six seasons as a commentator with the BBC before relocating to Canada to study theology and become a Minister. His father, Keith Peacock, played professionally for Charlton He grew up in Crayford, Kent, attended Bexeley Grammar School and played schoolboy international football for England. Gavin married his wife Amanda in 1989 and has a son, Jake, and a daughter, Ava. He recently co-authored 'The Grand Design', a book on biblical manhood and womanhood.
